CI 20/20 Summit Questions

Who is the CI 20/20 Summit Series for?

This Summit Series is designed for anyone who wants to dive deeper into competitive intelligence questions, issues, and challenges of the day…and into the future. Building on the success of our monthly webinars, we understand that the CI practice community and intelligence users need to connect with other practitioners, experts, and users to develop situational awareness, warning, and foresight on our industries, the macroenvironment, management needs — and the practice of CI itself. Our Summit Series offer the practice community and users opportunities to explore complex issues and questions, as our webinars continue to explore topics and discussions each month, and our CI Community of Practice on Slack offers intelligence practitioners and users the place to address issue and questions at any time. (Invitations to the Community of Practice will be sent via our monthly subscriber newsletter. Just mail ACME@cifellows.com to subscribe.)

How does this virtual summit work?

The CI 20/20 Summit Series is designed for you to participate from where you are, no travel necessary. All you need is a good Internet connection, access to the Zoom meeting platform on your computer or mobile device, and your registration. After you register, you’ll receive your confirmation email. Prior to the event, you will receive an email containing participation instructions and a Summit Program. This program will contain the schedule of events, along with participation links to each Summit session. You will also be able to learn about new offerings from sponsors and exhibitors in our online exhibition space.

What’s on the program?

We’ve taken features we know and love from live conferences and brought them online. We feature thought leaders in CI and strategy, leading and innovative practitioners, and opportunities to learn about how people are solving the pressing CI problems of the day. Our opening and keynote sessions, topical sessions, and networking will be live and online through Zoom, with breaks in-between. We’ll feature panel discussions, presentations, and breakout teams virtually. Networking will include fun ice-breakers…even a contest (you provide food and beverage). For more details on sessions, please see our Summit Agenda.

At live conferences and meetings, I can see, meet, and talk to people. How can I connect with other CI practitioners, experts, and thought leaders at this event?

You will be able to see our speakers and panelists through Zoom’s video feature. You can ask questions of our speakers and panels through Zoom’s Questions panel. Zoom also provides the ability to connect with other attendees and ask questions through its Chat panel, where you can also reach out to speakers. For some of our sessions and in our networking events, we will have breakout rooms for attendees, speakers, and sponsors to connect. In our virtual Exhibit, you will also be able to reach out to sponsors and exhibitors to learn about their solutions, services, and what they’re seeing and hearing about CI. After the event, you can participate in our CI Community of Practice on Slack to continue discussions and introduce new ones.

I may not be able to participate live for the entire event. Will this event be recorded?

Yes. Registrants will have access to the recordings after the event. Instruction and access will be emailed to you after the Summit. You will also be able to participate in follow-up discussions in our CI Community of Practice on Slack.

Who do I contact if I have any questions?

If you have any questions that our CI 20/20 Summit website or these questions haven’t covered, please don’t hesitate to contact us ACME@cifellows.com.
